PROS

1. Internal storage. It is nice to see Coleman has added a gear loft and pockets in the interior to store some of your gear.
2. More than one window. With 4 windows it is easier to keep the tent cool on a hot summers night.

CONS

1. Not roomy. With a floor area of 91 square feet, the Hampton 6 is smaller than quite a lot of the 125 other 6 person tents we have looked at.
2. Only one room. The Hampton is suggested for 6 people, some other tents of a similar size have more than one room allowing for a little more privacy.
3. No Vestibules. If you want to keep your dirty shoes, clothes, and backpacks protected from the rain etc, you must store them inside the tent.
4. Rainfly does not totally cover the tent body. The rainfly only covers the ceiling and part of the tent body from the top. Meaning it may not protect against heavy rain.
5. Footprint not Included. There is no included footprint, The floor may be made of WeatherTec systems patented welded but it is still best to protect it further with a footprint, more so on rough terrain.
6. Discontinued: Unfortunately this particular tent has been discontinued on the manufactures website and is no longer available elsewhere, that we are aware of.

Coleman's Hampton 6 tent is great for car camping. There are a couple of other things not noted above which, we found and liked, while researching the model: Integrated rainfly with no need for extra assembly, Storage pockets to keep your gear organized and Hinged door easily swings open.
