Summary: Favorable Reviews

Some campers who used the tent said: It is good that it provides its own tarp compared to other hammocks. I am glad that there is no need to be seam-sealed because its sewn with thread that expands when it gets wet. Setting up was fast and easy. Plus, it gives the right amount of warm during your cold camping days.

Summary: Unfavorable Reviews

People who used the tent said: Suitable for rainy days but not on icy weather conditions. They also do not seem to have a good way to attach guyline. I suggest they could run some cord around the button snap that connects them. The flaps could also be bigger.

Many of the great things about hammock tents are, that they are for, the most part light, making them simple to carry around. In most all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the hammock type. They are usually, freestanding and very easy to set up. In good weather, you could do without securing the tent with stakes and ropes, not that this is recommended.

Hammock tents are the most commonly seen of all the various sorts of tents you will find when camping. They tend to fair better in storms than other types, allowing water to roll off the sloped walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat tops, allowing the rain to pool on the top. The most straightforward hammock tent should have a rectangular footprint, slanted sides two or more poles which converge in the center of the roof. 2. Internal storage. It is good to see Nemo Equipment has added a gear loft and pockets in the interior to store some of your things.

Value for money: When thinking about value for money, this tent is a lot cheaper than the standard price of all the seventy-nine, one-person tents we have taken a look at, all alone this does not make it good value for money. We also need to look at other things in detail, as we do with each tent.
