2. No Vestibules. If you want to keep your dirty shoes, clothes, and backpacks protected from the rain etc, you need store them inside the tent.
3. Rainfly does not completely cover the tent. The rainfly only covers the ceiling and part of the tent body from the top. Meaning it might not protect against heavy downpours.
4. Footprint not Included. There is no included footprint, there is one available separately specifically for the Dog House 4 footprint Even though the floor may be made of Polyester with a waterproof polyurethane coating and nylon mesh, it is still best to protect it further with a footprint, especially on rough terrain.
5. A little heavy for backpacking. Even though the Dog House 4, looks like a small tent, it is not ideal for backpacking as it weighs 8 pounds. This is quite a lot more than many other backpacking tents
