Green Thumbs Up Logo

Summary: Favorable Reviews

Well made in general. The tent has a very spacious interior. There are several pockets and shelves to store items, which leaves more room on the floor for people. Well ventilated, keeps condensation away. No leaks during rain.

Teal Thumbs Down Logo

Summary: Unfavorable Reviews

Hard to tell the difference between its front and back sides. Main door tends to get soaked during rain. Zippers are not the best. Poles are also prone to fracture.

SPECS AND CONFIGURATIONS

The Suite Dream 4 has two windows and two doors and a peak center height of 5' 6, which is a tiny bit bigger than the average height of the 140 various 4 person tents we have examined With 76 square feet of space inside, it is considerably larger than some other 4-person tents, and it easily offers enough room for you and, up to three other campers throughout the 3-seasons, this tent is recommended for use in, smaller tents similar to this one are a suitable choice for campers that enjoy spending plenty of time outside of the tent enjoying the fresh air.

A few of the fantastic things about dome tents are, that they are under normal circumstances not too heavy, making them easy to carry around. In most all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are generally speaking, freestanding and very simple to set up. In calm weather, you can do without securing the tent with stakes and ropes, not that this is recommended.

Dome tents are without a doubt the most common of all the various types of tents you will find when camping. They tend to do better in bad weather than other types, allowing water to roll off the slanted sides, unlike cabin tents that have flat roofs, resulting in the water pooling on the top. The most basic dome tent will have a rectangular footprint, slanted walls a couple of poles which cross in the center of the roof. Because of their construction, it is typically thought of that they are best for up to a maximum of 6 people.

Below you can find a list of the tent's pros and cons.

PROS

  1. Freestanding. The Suite Dream can support its own weight on any terrain. It does not even have to be staked down in most cases. But in case of strong winds, it is always best to secure it to the floor with the included steel stakes and guylines.
  2. Vestibules. Having two vestibules. Offers you somewhere to store shoes and other items that can get dirty, muddy, this is a huge plus.
  3. Has Gear Loft. It is nice to see Eureka adding a gear loft in the interior to store some of your things.
  4. More than one door. With 2 doors, it is simpler to get in and out of the tent, in the middle of the night if needed.
  5. More than one window. With 2 windows it is easier to keep the tent ventilated on a hot summers night.
  6. Durable, water-resistant floor. The floor material is 75D 190T StormShield polyester taffeta, which is a substantially thick and high-strength fabric. Meaning the base is not prone to rips and punctures. Also, the material has a 2500 mm waterproofing rating, which is very good for most circumstances.
  7. Includes FootPrint. It is quite rare to see a footprint included with a tent. It is suggested to always use a footprint, so not having to pay extra for one is a plus.
  8. Breathable. The Suite Dream's interior uses a mesh fabric on the inside of the tent, and this helps maximize the flow of air. With the extra ventilation, and this tent is great for use in the summer.
  9. The rainfly completely covers the tent body. The rainfly covers the entire body of the tent from the top to the bottom and has a waterproof rating of 2000mm. Meaning it will easily protect you against heavy downpours.
  10. Other sizes are available. Eureka has also made this model available in Other Sizes.
  11. Low price. It is a great deal for a 4 person dome tent that provides this much room. Not many tents available on the market give this level of quality for only $349.95

CONS

  1. Out of Stock. Unfortunately this particular tent is not currently in stock. It is still on the manufactures site the last time we looked.
  2. A tad heavy for backpacking. Even though the Suite Dream 4, looks like a small tent, it is not ideal for backpacking as it weighs 12 pounds. This is quite a lot more than many other backpacking tents
  3. Sloping walls. Even though Dome tents have lots of attributes to rave about. The sloping sides do tend to make it all the more smaller inside.

CONCLUSION

4.5 Stars Logo

Our Ratings: 4.5 STARS

Eureka's Suite Dream 4 tent is ideal for car camping. Here are a few other points not already mentioned above which, were noticed and liked, while researching the model: Our Suite Dream series provides unprecedented roominess, Rectangular floor has an additional triangular piece in the rear for extra roominess and Full-coverage top fly provides maximum protection in bad weather.

With good ratings, a few reviews and a peak height of 5' and 76 square feet of space to play with, this tent is like your very own miniature flat. It will allow you together with 3 other campers to share some really enjoyable moments enjoying nature. We found a decent amount of positive points about the tent that you can read through above.

If you came to this page looking for an endorsement about this particular tent, our view is, it would make for a great acquisition. In case you just happened to land on this website while browsing for a new tent having not heard of this brand or this model previously, it is probably a good thing to check out some more similar tents also.

Value for money: When considering value for your money, this tent is more competitive than the usual cost of all the one hundred and fifty-nine, four-person tents we have studied, all alone this does not make it great value for money. One should also take a look at other factors in detail, as we do for each tent.

When we tally up the overall score of an individual tent, we look at a good deal of areas, searching for points where the tent could shine against other comparable tents and where it is coming up short. On this occasion, with an overall score of 4.5 and the price data above, It is simple to recognize that with a price of $349.95 The Suite Dream 4 is a fair bargain and reasonably priced in comparison with similar tents.

Its ratings show that the quality and space the tent gives you were not skimped on to get a price significantly below the normal price for comparable tents. It should make an awesome choice for most people looking for an appropriate three-season dome tent to camp in, that will serve you well for years to come.
