Easy assembly with pole clips that quickly snap over the tent poles
Campers stated: You won't find a tent in this size at this weight with aluminum poles and ... basically the entire feature set this tent has is unbeatable for the price. Very easy to setup and plenty of room.
People mentioned: The primary concern I have with the tent is its absence of interior pockets, as it only has a gear loft and no side pockets. Additionally, the fact that the tent is white is problematic for me, as I reside in Michigan where daylight can persist past 10 pm and dawn can occur before 6 am, resulting in a brightly lit tent during these hours.
$100 Cheaper
The Acropolis 4 has two doors and a maximum center height of 5' 0, which is a little bit less than the average height of the 161 different 4 person tents we have studied. With 64 square feet of room inside, it is a tiny bit smaller than some other 4-person tents, and it could be a little cramped for you and, up to three other campers during the 3-seasons, this tent is suggested for use in, smaller tents like this one generally make an awesome choice for people that like spending loads of time outside of their tent exploring.
Many of the fantastic things about dome tents are, that they are for, the most part lightweight, making them easy to carry. In most all instances, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are generally speaking, freestanding and very easy to set up. In calm weather, you can do without securing the tent with stakes and ropes, not that this is suggested.
Dome tents are easily the most commonly seen of all the other types of tents you will see when camping. They tend to do better in the rain than other types, allowing rain to easily slide off the sloped walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat tops, allowing the rain to pool on the top of the tent. The most basic dome tent will have a rectangular floor, sloped walls a couple of poles which cross in the middle of the roof. Due to the way they are made, it is typically considered that they are best suited for up to a maximum of 6 campers.
