Color coded webbing and buckles make set up easy
It is easy to set up and has plenty of room for a couple and a dog. It also survived through a few summer storms without a single leak. It is our second Big Agnes tent, and we are very satisfied.
For me, it's not compatible with four adult persons. Maybe, for four young teenagers, this would be lovely, they would be able to fit inside better.

The Flying Diamond 4 has two doors and a maximum center height of 5' 0, which is a little bit less than the average height of the 134 other 4 person tents we have studied. With 61 square feet of room inside, it is a little bit smaller than some other 4-person tents, and it could be a little cramped for you and, up to three other campers all through the 3-seasons, this tent is approved for use in, smaller tents like this one often make a superb choice for campers that welcome spending loads of time outside the tent exploring.
Some of the great points about dome tents are, that they are under normal circumstances light, making them simple to carry around. In nearly all cases, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are usually, freestanding and very straightforward to set up. In calm weather, you could do without guy lines and stakes, not that this is suggested.
Dome tents are the most common of all the different types of tents you will see when camping. They tend to fair better in bad weather than other types, allowing rain to roll off the slanted walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat tops, allowing the water to pool on the roof. The most basic dome tent should have a square footprint, sloped walls a couple of poles which cross in the center of the roof. Due to the way they are made, it is generally thought of that they are ideal for up to a maximum of 6 people.

Value for money: As far as value for your dollar, this tent is right around the usual cost of all the one hundred and fifty-four, four-person tents we have looked at, this just by itself does not make it good value for money. We also need to think about other areas in-depth, as we do with each tent.
When we determine the ratings of a single tent, we consider tons of conditions, finding areas where the tent could shine against other comparable tents and where it is not quite as good. On this occasion, with an overall score of 4.4 and the price details above, we can see that with a ticket price of $499.95 Big Agnes's Flying Diamond 4 is a very good buy the cost is not at all unreasonable when set side by side with similar tents.
