1. Not roomy. With a floor area of 64 square feet, the Rimrock 4 is smaller than quite a few of the 134 other 4 person tents we have looked at.
2. No Vestibules. If you want to keep your dirty shoes, clothes, and backpacks protected from the elements, you must store them inside the tent.
3. Rainfly does not totally cover the tent body. The rainfly only covers the ceiling and part of the tent body from the top. Meaning it may not protect against heavy rain.
4. Footprint not Included. There is no included footprint, there is one available separately designed for the Rimrock 4 footprint Even though the floor may be made of Polyethylene Tub, it is still better to protect it further with a footprint, especially on rough terrain.
5. A little heavy for backpacking. Even though the Rimrock 4, looks like a small tent, it is not ideal for backpacking as it weighs 10 pounds. This is quite a lot more than many other backpacking tents
6. Sloping walls. Even though Dome tents have many qualities to be positive about. The sloping sides do tend to make it all the more smaller inside.
7. Storage Space. because of the size of the tent, one cannot store a lot of stuff inside..
