1. No Vestibules. If you want to keep your dirty shoes, clothes, and backpacks protected from the rain etc, you will have to store them inside the tent.
2. Rainfly does not wholly cover the tent. The rainfly only covers the ceiling and part of the tent body from the top. Meaning it may not protect against heavy rain.
3. Footprint not Included. There is no included footprint, The floor may be made of Polyethylene, 140 g/m2 but it is still best to protect it further with a footprint, especially on rough terrain.
4. A tad heavy for backpacking. Even though the Sundome 3, looks like a small tent, it is not probably the best choice for backpacking as it weighs 8 pounds. This is quite a lot more than many other backpacking tents
