One of the many advantages of cabin tents is, that the walls are basically vertical making for a larger interior, this makes for much more headroom at the sides inside, making it feel much larger than a dome tent, they also, tend to have large sleeping areas, making them great for groups. Normally cabin tents most often used by families going on a camping trip in a car or a truck as they are quite heavy when compared to dome tents.
