The Colfax 4 has three windows and two doors and a peak center height of 5' 4, which is a little bit bigger than the average height of the 134 different 4 person tents we have studied. With 57 square feet of space inside, it is a lot smaller than some other 4-person tents, and it would be quite cramped for you and, up to three other campers during the whole of the 3-seasons, this tent is suggested for use in, smaller tents similar to this one generally make a suitable choice for campers that prefer spending heaps of time outside their tent getting some air.

PROS

1. Freestanding. The Colfax can support its own weight on any terrain. It does not even have to be staked down in most cases. But in case of strong winds, it is always best to secure it to the floor with the included steel stakes and guylines.
2. Vestibule. Having one vestibule. Affords you somewhere to store shoes and other items that can get dirty, muddy, this is a big plus.
3. Internal storage. It is nice to see Marmot has added a gear loft and pockets in the interior to store some of your stuff.
4. More than one door. With 2 doors, it is easier to get in and out of the tent, in the middle of the night if needed.
5. More than one window. With 3 windows it is simple to keep the tent cooler on a hot summers night.
6. Durable, water-resistant floor. The floor material is 68D 190T poly taffeta, which is a substantially thick and high-strength fabric. Meaning the base is not prone to tears and punctures. Also, the material has a 2000 mm waterproofing rating, which is pretty good for most circumstances.
7. Includes FootPrint. It is not often we see a footprint included with the tent. It is strongly suggested to always use a footprint, so not having to pay extra for one is a plus.
8. Available in other sizes. Marmot has also made this model available in Other Sizes.
9. Low price. It is a great buy for a 4 person dome tent providing this much room. Not many tents available on the market provide this level of quality for only $379

CONS

1. Not roomy. With a floor area of 57 square feet, the Colfax 4 is smaller than quite a few of the 134 other 4 person tents we have looked at.
2. Rainfly does not completely cover the tent. The rainfly only covers the ceiling and part of the tent body from the top. Meaning it might not protect against heavy downpours.
3. Out of Stock. Unfortunately this particular tent is not currently in stock. It is still on the manufactures site the last time we looked.
4. A tad heavy for backpacking. Even though the Colfax 4, looks like a small tent, it is not probably the best choice for backpacking as it weighs 9 pounds. This is quite a lot more than many other backpacking tents
5. Sloping walls. Even though Dome tents have lots of things to be positive about. The sloping walls do tend to make it all the more smaller inside.

Marmot's Colfax 4 tent is really good for bicycle & motorbike camping.
