CONS

1. Not spacious. With a floor area of 63 square feet, the Evanston 4 is smaller than quite a lot of the 159 other 4 person tents we have looked at.
2. No Vestibules. If you want to keep your dirty shoes, clothes, and backpacks protected from the rain etc, you must store them inside the tent.
3. Rainfly does not totally cover the tent. The rainfly only covers the ceiling and part of the tent body from the top. Meaning it may not protect against heavy rain.
4. Footprint not Included. There is no included footprint, The floor may be made of Polyethylene 1000D but it is still best to protect it further with a footprint, more so on rough terrain.
5. Out of Stock. Unfortunately this particular tent is not currently in stock. It is still on the manufactures site the last time we checked.
6. A little heavy for backpacking. Even though the Evanston 4, looks like a small tent, it is not probably the best choice for backpacking as it weighs 14 pounds. This is quite a lot more than many other backpacking tents
7. Sloping walls. Even though Dome tents have heaps of things to be positive about. The sloping walls do tend to make it all the more smaller inside.
8. Storage Space. because of the size of the tent, one cannot store much stuff inside..
