The tent setup and tear down is incredibly easy
Easy and quick to set up (can be done in under 3 minutes). One person can carry it. Included carrying bag is big enough for the tent when packed. Good space in the vestibules. Also much space in the inside. No leaks in hard rain.
A little heavy for backpacking trips. Setup instructions can be vague for some. No included footprint. Some stitching in the rainfly rip apart too quickly.
The Midori 3 has two doors and a maximum center height of 4' 2, which is a tiny bit smaller than the average height of the 145 different 3 person tents we have studied. With 44 square feet of space inside, it is a tiny bit smaller than some other 3-person tents, and it could be a little cramped for you and, up to two other campers during the 3-seasons, this tent is suggested for use in, smaller tents similar to this one are a nice choice for people who welcome spending plenty of time outside their tent getting some air.
A few of the cool things about dome tents are, that they are for, the most part light, making them simple to carry. In most all instances, tents used for backpacking are of the dome type. They are generally speaking, freestanding and very straightforward to set up. In calm weather, you can do without securing the tent with stakes and ropes, not that this is suggested.
Dome tents are without a doubt the most commonly seen of all the various sorts of tents you will find when camping. They tend to fair better in the rain than other types, allowing rain to easily slide off the sloped walls, unlike cabin tents that have flat tops, resulting in the rain pooling on the top of the tent. The most basic dome tent will have a square footprint, sloped walls a couple of poles which cross in the middle of the roof. Because of the way they are made, it is generally thought of that they are best for up to a maximum of 6 campers.
